Remember that report which surfaced a few days before Christian Bale got arrested on allegations of assault in London while promoting “The Dark Knight,” about him lashing out on a crew member on the set of “Terminator: Salvation.”
Well, speculate no more, because that tape from the July 2008 incident has emerged, featuring Bale screaming, shouting and using all kinds of profanity at “Terminator: Salvation” director of photography, Shane Hurlbut.
In the tape, posted on TMZ, Bale was recorded as he ranted at Hurlbut, after he walked on to the set as he was filming a scene with co-star Bryce Dallas Howard.
Enjoy. This is fantastic! But, seriously, let’s give the guy a break. We think he’s just a very dedicated actor who just doesn’t like to be interrupted while filming a scene, that’s all…he can’t perform at his best when people are walking around the set. That and his wife forgot to fill his Xanax prescription that day…that’s all…

he makes valid points. the guy ruined god knows how many takes by trottin around in the background checkin out the lights. if you’re an actor, you are workin on a movie possibly 18 hours a day. who knows how many takes they have to go through per scene and they probably did this scene about 20 times and it was going fine. then this guy walks in and screws things up. i’d be pretty pissed too. granted the duration of the outburst was a bit excessive, but sleep depravation and exhaustion will do that to you. acting is not an easy job. and if someone is the director of photography, they should indeed know better than to walk through the set while filming. hope he got canned. well said Christian. he’s a F-ing amateur.
