Goya Awards much more babe-oriented than Oscars

You see, Goya used to mean nothing more than the spanish isle with all the beans at our local grocery store…until we realized that the Goya Awards, Spain’s equivalent to the Oscars is an event that garners the country’s hottest babes. While we don’t want to be discriminating against our own local produce, these mamoncillos (spanish fruit for those in need of a translation) are just so much juicier.

For those that didn’t recognize her, this is Monica Cruz, Penelope’s sister. Penelope won 2 Goya Awards for her role in Vicky Cristina Barcelona, but was somewhat outshadowed by the other spanish babes on the red carpet. Check them out.
