What happened at the Clive Davis pre-grammy party on Saturday night? Did Chris Brown have too much to drink or did the lovebirds argue about his recent sighting with a Rihanna-look alike? Either way, it seems Chris got physical with Rihanna a few hours after the party ended, something that got him charged and arrested.
According to the LAPD, the R&B singer and an undisclosed woman were in a vehicle on North June St. in the Hancock Park area of LA, where the victim claims an argument occurred. Brown allegedly stopped the car and the woman suffered “visible injuries” and identified the singer as her attacker.
“At around 6:30 PM on February 8, 2009 R&B entertainer Chris Brown turned himself in to authorities at the Los Angeles Police Department’s Wilshire Division,” the LAPD said in a statement to Access Hollywood. “Detectives investigating the alleged domestic violence felony battery booked him for criminal threats.”
Both Rihanna and Chris Brown cancelled their appearances at the Grammys on Sunday evening.
