If only celebrities would learn to think before they talk, but reading from a script so often has robbed them of that ability…or if you’re also a comedian like Jamie Foxx you are automatically granted the right of saying what you want without checking with your brain first. At least that’s what he thinks and that is the excuse he tried to use as a half-ass apology to Miley Cyrus during his visit to Jay Leno on Tuesday night.
This is what he said during his weekend satellite radio show:
“Who is Miley Cyrus?The one with all the gums? She gotta get a gum transplant…S–t…She’s gonna ruin Radiohead’s career? The same Radiohead that gets paid a million dollars just to sample their songs?…Make a sex tape and grow up…Get like Britney Spears and do some heroin. Do like Lindsay Lohan and start seeing a lesbian and get some crack in your pipe. Catch Chlamydia on a bicycle seat. That’s what I want.”
“I am a comedian, and you guys know that whatever I say, I don’t mean any of it,” he tried to explain to Jay Leno. “And sometimes, as comedians, as we do, we go a little bit too far… There was a situation with Miley Cyrus, and I just want to say, I apologize for what I said. I didn’t mean it maliciously.”
No, he meant it with love, lot’s of love. And no spite whatsover eventhough he is pretty sure his movie The Soloist will most likely be beaten by Miley’s Hannah Montana flick at the box office this weekend.
