Rihanna talks to the hand in a crazy leather dress

Earlier this week, Rihanna stepped out in NYC in an…interesting dress.  The schizo leather and floral patterned outfit, coupled with her razor sharp nails made for a pretty scary combination.  We guess with nails that long, it’s difficult to hold a cell phone properly.  That’s the only reason we can come up with to explain why the singer is holding her phone in such a weird manner.  Either that or someone told her to ‘talk to the hand’ and she took it literally.

It’s been a while since she’s performed in public, but Rihanna is returning to the stage, along with Kanye West and Jay-Z for the first episode of the new Jay Leno show.  Appropriately titled “The Jay Leno Show,” will premiere on September 14th on NBC and the song these three mega stars are performing is called ‘Run This Town.’  It’s the first track off Jay-Z’s highly anticipated “The Blueprint 3″ album.  We hope she goes shopping for a new look before the performance, cause what she’s wearing here just isn’t cutting it.  Hear the track below.
