What the heck is Victoria Beckham doing in Boston? The only American cities we usually see the posh, former-pop star are New York and Los Angeles. Yet, here she is dolled up in a red dress and weird lace headband in Beantown.
Turns out the ex-Spice Girl was there as a guest judge during the Boston American Idol auditions. Vikki is subbing in the spot where Paula Abdul usually sits, blathering incoherently to contestants. We’re sure the ‘Wannabe’ singer thrilled all the wannabe singers at the audition with such constructive criticism as: ‘You’ll sing better if you eat less’ and ‘You sound as bad as Baby Spice.’
This is the second time Beckham has sat in on auditions, as she was on hand last week when Idol was in Denver. So is Victoria going to become a permanent fixture on America’s number 1 show? Oh lord, we hope not! We can’t stare at that crypt keeper face for a whole season!
