1992 Mariah Carey, is that you? Mariah looked like she just stepped off the set of MTV Unplugged as she left Mr. Chow with husband Nick Cannon on Wednesday (September 2). But, it couldn’t be the early 90s because Mariah would have been about 30 pounds lighter and Nick would have been about 12-years-old. Then again, he did look a bit like he was taking his special lady to a school dance with that red rose boutonniere.
Thursday (September 3), Mimi took to her Twitter to reveal the cover art for her new single “I Want to Know What Love Is”. The 1984 Foreigner original is even older than Mariah’s blast-from-the-past perm ‘do, but it is her second single off her new album “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel”.
In one last bit of news, Mariah is planning to perform on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” on September 18, during the first week of her new season. “Mariah will chat with Oprah [Winfrey] as well as perform new music from her upcoming album ‘Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel’ due in-stores on Tuesday, September 29,” it was announced on her website.
