She did not choke on Merriman’s, er, giant bouzouki, or rushed to the hospital by a loving and concerned Merriman eager to revive her after her windpipes got too much love glue stuck in them. No, this was a case of her boyfriend allegedly putting his hands around her neck and attempting to strangle her(Tila called the police around 3:00am on Sunday morning. Merriman was taken into custody and accused of battery and false imprisonment).
Now, according to Merriman and his lawyer, he was just trying to protect the love of his life from a dangerous situation since she was attempting to leave his apartment drunk (“no Tila, you are way too intoxicated. You can’t leave the premises…who knows, you will probably get gang raped on your way home, what with your track record and all…surely a slow death by asphyxiation is a much better ending than a torn ass”). Aww, isn’t this true love?
Now, because we’re not cynical at all, we are not going to suggest that Tila, being away from the spotlight for a while, thought choke marks around her neck would provide just the right dose of drama for her 100th 5-minute comeback…then again, Merriman was caught doping so it could be a true instance of roid rage…in which case we demand that this episode is broadcasted if not on ESPN, at least on Pay-Per-View…surely one can understand the desire to see Tila Tequila’s eyes bulging out of their sockets…no, we’re just joking, we do not condone violence on this site.
