Dita von Teese: Drugs ate my boobs

Burlesque stripper Dita Von Teese says she opted for a boob job when she was 21 because her breasts had been ravaged by her drug habit.

She said she was left flat-chested by the effects of her LSD and ecstasy use. The 37-year-old ex of singer Marilyn Manson told Fabulous magazine: “I was a bit of a party girl in the early ’90s and used LSD and ecstasy. “Eventually my weight dropped to 6stone 7lbs (41.2kg) and I looked terrible, so I gave up drugs. “My breasts never recovered, so when I was 21, I had 32D implants.”

Following the breast-enhancement surgery, she is now a healthy 51.5kg. But Von Teese denies wearing corsets to reduce her waist.

“Everyone’s more obsessed about my waist than I am it’s about 23 inches (58cm). I don’t sleep in corsets, but I wear clothes that exaggerate it,” she said. The hour-glass beauty admitted to the magazine she suffered from cellulite. But she has her own magic way of disguising it, even when she strips.

“Just like any woman, I have a bit of cellulite, but you’d never know thanks to good lighting and my way of posing,” she says. “We all have our flaws, and the best we can do is accept them and disguise them.”

Von Teese has been dating 25-year-old Count Louis Marie de Castelbajac for the past seven months after her year-long marriage to Manson ended in 2007.

“I think I’ve become a little bit more careful in my selection now,” she told OK! magazine of what she wanted in a man these days. “I look for people that keep me calm and bring happiness and joy to my life instead of the opposite of that. “I look for elegance combined with someone who has great sexual chemistry with me. It’s the good parts of the bad guy and the good parts of the good guy, too. I like all of it.”
