They say it’s the smaller dogs that have the nastiest bite, and it seems it is true in the case of Mini Me.
Austin Powers star Verne Troyer is in one tiny pickle after his ex-girlfriend (who we still maintain is one kinky girl) went to court alleging he abused and threatened her.
The actor, famous for playing Mini Me in the hit movies, is now banned from approaching model Yvette Monet.
Troyer, who appeared in this year’s Celebrity Big Brother, allegedly bombarded the former beauty queen with abusive texts calling her a “hooker”.
Stunning 5ft 9in blonde Yvette, who towers over 2ft 8in Troyer, told a judge in LA she feared for her life after he warned she “better watch out” because his pals had guns.
In court papers Yvette, 25, admitted that she had dated Troyer, 40, but said they split up months ago.
She alleged that the star constantly bombards her with texts and emails, despite her begging him to stop.
And Minnesota-born Yvette, who works mainly as a bit-part actress, said she was scared because she believed Troyer owns a gun.
She told a judge “Verne’s friend Bart is carrying guns and will do anything he says” and “his friend Jose is a cop and has guns as well”.
She added: “I’m afraid for my life.”
Yvette has been granted a temporary restraining order against Troyer until next month.
The actor – who recently appeared alongside the late Heath Ledger in The Imaginarium Of Dr Parnassus – must stay more than 100 yards from her home, workplace and vehicle.
