Tiger Woods gets panic attack over lie detector test

A new report says Tiger Woods was forced to take a lie detector test as part of his sex addiction treatment — and that the test caused him to have several sleepless nights.

Woods reportedly had no idea that his treatment involved a lie detector test.

“He went absolutely ballistic when he was told during the early days of his treatment at the Gentle Path rehab program that a polygraph test is required of all patients,” an insider told the Enquirer.

“Sex addicts are continual liars, but there’s no lying inside Gentle Path. When Tiger went into therapy, he didn’t know that the lie detector was part of the deal,” explained the source.

“In there, you have to come clean. They make you take another test, and another, until you have told the truth about everything.”

“He was so stunned that he started having anxiety attacks,” said the insider. “He began having trouble sleeping, and the center prescribed medicine to help with the stress.”

“Sex Rehab’s” Dr. Drew Pinsky tells “Extra” that if Woods is willing to tell the truth — polygraph or not — and he takes rehab seriously, there’s a very good chance that he and Elin can put all this behind them.

As part of the treatment, Woods had to confess every single detail face-to-face to wife Elin during disclosure week.

RadarOnline reported yesterday that Tiger will be released from rehab by the end of the week and that Elin Nordegren has flown to Hattiesburg, Mississippi to meet her husband and bring him home. After leaving the facility the couple plan to take a few days off and travel away together – alone.“Tiger and Elin want to be alone out of public when he leaves the clinic,” a source told RadarOnline.

“He should be out by the weekend. They are giving their marriage another try.”

It is believed Nordegren recently spent five days with Woods as part of his rehab.
