Update:Sacha Cohen's "rear-ending" of Eminem's face was fake

Alas, it was too good to be true. Eminem had the pleasure of meeting Bruno’s nutsack prior to the night of the MTV Movie Awards and had the opportunity to taste his pubic hair before the comedian landed himself face-down on his lap.

“There’s no way it was an accident,” an industry insider who was seated a few rows in front of Eminem tells TVGuide.com. “You don’t let two stars collide without a detailed plan.”

Eminem, who has been branded a homophobe in the past, was wearing a live microphone throughout the entire incident.

Scott Aukerman, the head writer for the MTV Movie Awards, confirmed that the stunt was planned in a blog post this afternoon.

“Yes, the Bruno/Eminem incident was staged,” he wrote. “That’s all anyone wants to talk about, so lets get it out of the way. They rehearsed it at dress and yes, it went as far as it did on the live show then.”
