Lindsay Lohan: Jewelry Thief?

Lindsay Lohan just can’t keep herself out of trouble. The troubled actress is now a suspect in the theft of $100,000 worth of sunglasses and watches, this according to local law enforcement sources.

It all started when Lindsay Lohan visited the home of Sam Magid a week ago when he called LAPD to report a jewelry theft. Lindsay has been a frequent visitor in Sam’s house; she even attended an all-night house party there last weekend. Sources are telling TMZ that Lindsay and her assistant Gavin Doyle are both suspects in the theft.

This is where things get strange, though. Sam Magid has changed his tune and now claims that nothing was ever stolen! However, cops are not closing out the investigation because they believe they have witnesses who can connect Lindsay and her assistant to the crime. LAPD have reached out to the lawyer for Lindsay and Gavin, asking for an interview, but the lawyer rejected the request.

This is certainly bad news for Lindsay for a number of reasons, but it could be really bad news. Lohan is still on probation for stealing a necklace at a Venice jewelry store. We’re no experts, but stealing more jewelry while on probation sounds like it would be some kind of violation.
