Marc Anthony Will Be a Mentor on The X Factor

Good news for all you crazy Marc Anthony fans out there (if there are any) the 43-year-old singer has signed on to be a mentor on the hit reality show. He will be helping the contestants assigned to Simon Cowell during the upcoming season of the X Factor, which airs on September 12.

He will join Justin Bieber as a mentor, and sources say that Nick Jonas will also be signing on very soon to be another mentor. The show is looking for one more mentor after Nick Jonas, but it doesn’t look like they have made their final decision, yet. They better make the decision soon; time is running out!

The show will also be announcing the two brand new hosts on September 11. There have been a lot of rumors regarding the two open hosting gigs, but no one really knows for sure who FOX has picked.

I am still having trouble understanding why they hired Marc Anthony as a mentor? Perhaps, if the show was about how to get girls that are way out of your league, then maybe I would want his advice. But, would he be my first choice for a singing mentor? Not at all.
