Paula Abdul Returning to Television?

Do you find yourself watching prime time television and feeling empty? Like something, or someone is missing? It’s probably because Paula Abdul is no longer drooling on the set of some reality show. The TV is getting lonely without Paula on it, but could that be changing soon?

Sources say that Paula is planning on returning to television with a show centered around her. She was spotted having lunch with former ’Today’ show producer Marc Victor. Marc confirmed that he was indeed talking to Paula about a new show, but he also made it clear that it’s still very early in the process. The NBC producer has been talking to a lot of celebrities about possible new shows, but Paula is high on his list.

A friend of Paula talked to The Huffington Post about the rumors,

“Paula would love to get back on TV again. She knows the value of TV. Long before Jennifer Lopez or Mariah (Carey) or Britney (Spears), Paula knew the future would be being in people’s living rooms once or twice a week. She is hoping this turns into something solid very soon and can’t wait to get to return to television.”

Well, I hate to admit it…but I am little excited. I’ve never really understand anything Paula says, but there is something about her that makes me love her. Not like “in love” with her; it’s similar to the love you feel for a lost puppy. You want to help the puppy and save it from cars that are speeding down the street.
