It turns out that drugs did not play any role in the death of Sylvester Stallone’s son, Sage Stallone. Coroner’s officials have determined that he died in his California home due to a heart condition. They report that he died of natural causes from blocked arteries; no other factors were involved in his death. In fact, Toxicology reports only show a small amount of hydrocodone in his system.

Sage Stallone was only 36 when he died on July 13, which is why everyone is so shocked he died from heart problems. It’s unusual for someone that young to have blockage in their heart, but it’s not unheard of. Some people are asking how he didn’t know, but it’s not uncommon for people to not have any symptoms. They also just might not recognize the symptoms, which is why it’s very important to get frequent check-ups.

Sage was the oldest of Sylvester’s children and even co-starred in two movies with his father. He also worked as a director and was very much involved in the Hollywood scene. He fell in love with the whole idea when he made his acting debut in Rocky V with his father.

We’re sure this doesn’t make the death any easier on the family, but at least it will give them closure. They won’t have to read anymore headlines, claiming their son died of an overdose. Hopefully the family will now have time to heal and deal with this tragedy without the media knocking down their door.
