You may remember reading a story awhile back about Sean Kingston getting sued by his landlord for allegedly trashing his house and breaking their lease agreement by moving out a few months early. The landlord claims that Kingston and his mother caused over $20,000 in damage to his $25,000 a month home. Some of the damage includes, broken landscaping lights, sprinkler heads, and holes in the wall.

Kingston was apparently too busy to respond to the lawsuit and now he is paying for it. The judge working the suit entered a default judgment against Kingston; ordering him to pay $77,000 in damages…basically three months of rent. However, Kingston did put down a $25,000 security deposit, so he only has to pay $52,858 of the $77,000 fine.

Forget having to pay 52k because of damages to the house, I am still shocked he was paying $25,000 a month to live there! I know that he’s rich and all, but he won’t be for long if he continues to blow $25,000 a month on rent. Sometimes, I just can’t understand how really rich people live…it just seems like such a waste of money. Do you really need a $25,000 a month home to be happy? Heck, he’s not even there half the time!

I don’t even pay that much for two years worth of rent! Granted, the house is old and the only sprinkler system my yard has is when stray dogs come by and pee on it, but at least I have a roof over my head. I have a fridge to keep my food cold, washer to keep my clothes clean and a shower to keep myself clean.

What else do you need in life?
