Alex Trebek Suffers Heart Attack

One of the best game show hosts of our time suffered a heart attack on Saturday. Trebek was admitted into Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Saturday and doctors quickly discovered he suffered a mild heart attack. You may remember that Trebek suffered a mild heart attack back in 2007, as well. He ended up returning to host Jeopardy! just a few weeks later!

And he is expected to do the exact same thing here. Jeopardy! starts filming its new season on July 29th and he is expected to be there. Sony Pictures Television released a statement saying, “Trebek is in good spirits and is currently under observation and undergoing further testing. He is expected to fully recover and be back at Jeopardy! when production begins taping in July.”

Trebek is 71-years-old and has hosted Jeopardy! since 1984. We all wish him a very speedy recovery!
