Jail Officials concerned that Amber Portwood might Shiv Someone?

Amber Portwood is still in jail and apparently jail officials think she is a threat! According to a letter she wrote to her brother, she claims that jail officials have made her use a flexible writing utensil, so she won’t shiv anyone. I guess that means they think Amber is some sort of a threat, but in the letter she wrote she sounds more terrified than anything else.

“I don’t think I’ll ever take this shit for granted. I’m scared I’m going to prison…All I think about is Leah and how she needs a ro-model (sic).” She also says, “I am a good person and I pray that I can change my life.”

Amber is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 27th for her probation violation hearing, and faces two years in jail if convicted.

What a sad story this is becoming to be. Don’t you miss the first season of Teen Mom? When you could make fun of her and Gary and not feel bad? Now, it is just some tragic story about a little girl who is going to be screwed up for the rest of her life because her parents suck. The really sad part is that I actually do think Amber is a good person…it’s just the goodness is deep, deep, deep down inside of her.

Maybe a year or two in jail will pull it out of her. Fingers crossed!
