Did Jim Carrey’s Daughter Receive Special Treatment on Idol?

Apparently she did. According to RadarOnline Jane received special treament, claiming that she didn’t have to go through the same challenges her fellow competitors went through in order to perform for the judges. A source claims that Jane did not have to camp outside for days to win her audition spot like everyone else because she was the daughter of Jim Carrey.

The source said, “She didn’t have to sleep outside and wait for hours hoping to audition like everyone else. She basically had an appointment and showed up. Her audition was pre-arranged with the producers. She did not wait and line up for hours or days outside. She had a time, she showed up and went.”

Oh, no! That is not going to make her very popular during Hollywood week, is it? It’s not that surprising, though. She is Jim Carrey’s daughter; did you really think she didn’t have connections? She probably went back to the hotel with the judges and ate with them. Hollywood is all about connections, and you gotta have them to survive. I’d even be willing to bet that there are more people out there like Jane getting special treatment on Idol.

They may not be the kid of anyone famous, but there are some that probably have really good connections. You know, I had a connection once…but then the phone company shut it off because I didn’t “pay” the bill.
