Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise: Scientology Blues!

When we first heard Katie and Tom were divorcing, we knew two things were going to happen. There would be a lot of “Tom Cruise is secretly gay” jokes and everyone would blame Scientology for their divorce. We don’t actually know if it had anything to do with the divorce, but it’s the easiest thing to blame and make up stories about. The latest story? Well, sources connected with Katie claim that the final straw was Tom Cruise threatening to send Suri to a Scientology organization called, Sea Organization. The Sea Organization is where the highest levels of Scientology are taught and kids are sent there to live without their parents. Katie obviously didn’t want that to happen. And, you can’t really blame her. Ex-Scientologists have described the Sea Organization as “military-like.” So, was this really the final straw? Or is it just a rumor? Who knows, but you would think Katie knew what she was getting herself into when she married Tom. If Scientology was such a big issue; why marry and have a kid with him?
