Lindsay Lohan: It was the Brakes!

As we reported yesterday, Lindsay Lohan was in a “serious” car accident. She was driving down the highway when she slammed into the back of an 18-wheeler.

Well, Lindsay Lohan is claiming that it wasn’t her fault! She is blaming the wreck on the Porsche she was renting and the truck driver. She claims that the 18-wheeler cut her off and that when she tried to slam on the brakes…nothing happened! Lindsay also claims that she was told the brakes were replaced in the car two days before the crash.

However, the 18-wheeler says that is not what happened and he even has witnesses to back him up. So, who do you believe? Well, we’d go with the 18-wheeler driver who probably doesn’t have a history of lying.

Lindsay is telling friends and family that she feels extremely lucky to be alive and that she is amazed she escaped with only a few cuts and bruises.
