Mayim Bialik Severely Injured in Car Accident

The ‘Big Bang Theory’ star suffered her own little “big bang” yesterday afternoon in Los Angeles. The 36-year-old actress suffered a severe injury that almost cost her a finger! The accident happened around noon at the corner of Hollywood Blvd. and La Brea. Mayim was driving by herself in a White Volvo and was hit by another vehicle, which just happened to be carrying tourists from Chile.

An ambulance rushed to the scene and witnesses claim there was blood everywhere. They also claimed that Mayim’s finger was almost completely severed, “it was just hanging there” they said. There were even reports that she had lost the finger, but luckily doctors were able to save it. She even managed to post a tweet just hours after the accident (with the help of her husband),
