Richard Dawson Dead at 79

We found out some very sad news this past weekend. The iconic host of Family Feud, Richard Dawson died from complications due to esophageal cancer. His son, Gary Dawson wrote the following message on his Facebook,

“It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you that my father passed away this evening from complications due to esophageal cancer. He was surrounded by his family. He was an amazing talent, a loving husband, a great dad, and a doting grandfather. He will be missed but always remembered.”

Very sad news indeed. Richard Dawson was on a lot of great TV shows. Family Feud, Hogan’s Heroes and The Match Game. He was known for a lot of things, but some people may remember his “lips” the best. He kissed every woman who went on Family Feud and not just on the cheek. He planted a kiss right on their lips. And he must have been quite the kisser because he ended up marrying a contestant from the show, Gretchen Johnson.
