Imagine this. You just come home from a long night of playing bingo and you see that someone has broken into your house. You probably start to freak out, right? But what if when you walked in, you saw that chicken was on the table and the laundry was folded? What do you do then? Grab a fork and a napkin? Well, this exact thing happened to an Indiana woman about a week ago.
While Ashley Murray was out playing bingo, 46 year old Keith Davis decided to break into her house and cook dinner. “He cooked some chicken and onions in a pan, folded my clothes and swept my floor.” Ashley Murray told WNDU. And get this, the cops told her that, “it looked like he was a good chef: it looked like it had broth and everything in it.”
Sadly, no matter how many household chores you do, you just can’t go breaking into someone’s house. Keith Davis was arrested for breaking and entering and unwanted maid services (okay so I made the last charge up.) He is being held on $5,000 bond and prosecutors have requested Davis undergo a psychological evaluation. It appears the poor man really thought he was at home; apparently he even vacuumed the floors.
Geez, why did she have him arrested? I would have hired him. Chicken with some onions? Clean floors? Folded laundry? Where do I sign up? My ceiling fans also need a little dusting, do you think he charges extra for that?
