American Idol Winner ‘Phillip Phillips’ Escapes Surgery!

Phillip Phillips has been waiting to have surgery for months now to fix a serious a kidney problem. However, after all the talk about how bad he needed the surgery…it turns out he won’t even be having it!

Sources tell E! News that Phillip is “doing well” and responding to an alternative treatment. He currently has no plans to follow through with any kind of procedure. “He will be attending all the tour dates and is really looking forward to the launch on July 6” says a rep for the tour.

Well, that is certainly interesting. Was the surgery thing just blown up for TV? Perhaps for votes? Or did they really just find a better way to treat his condition? After all, he does know “people” now. He probably went to Dick Cheney’s doctors. If they can keep him alive somehow, then I am sure they can fix Phillip’s kidney problem without cutting him open.
