One Direction is being sued by One Direction!

Confused by the headline? Let us explain. The popular British boy band, ‘One Direction’ is being sued by some douchebags in America who also go by the name, ‘One Direction’ (see picture below) and they are wanting the British One Direction to change their name.

They filed a lawsuit claiming that they formed their band in 2009, an entire year before the UK band members even knew about each other. The U.S. One Direction also claim that they filed a trademark application for “One Direction” well before the UK version of One Direction. They are asking for a court order that would require the “real” One Direction to change their name.

It doesn’t end there, though! The douchebags are also suing Simon Cowell’s record label and Sony Music — demanding more than $1 million in damages. UK One Direction has not responded to the lawsuit, yet.

Really? Way to make America look bad. UK One Direction had nothing to do with your miserable band’s failures. It’s because you had shi**y music and shi**y hair. Plus, you don’t have cool British accents. Go find a real job at Mcdonalds and stop trying to sue people.
