Justin Bieber Meets with Cancer Patient Avalanna Routh for Valentine’s Date

Justin Bieber has millions of dollars, millions of fans and a beautiful girlfriend. It’d be easy for him to get a big head and turn into a selfish prick. However, Bieber continues to prove that he still has his head on straight. Bieber flew six-year-old Avalanna Routh to New York City for a pre-Valentine’s Day date.

Avalanna is battling a rare form of cancer, a type called AT/RT that affects the brain and sadly there is no cure. She is a huge Bieber fan; she even had a pretend wedding with a cutout of Bieber. The nurses at the Jimmy Fund Clinic made her a T-shirt that had the words, “Future Mrs. Bieber.” on it.

Bieber heard about Avalanna through a “Get Avalanna to Meet Justin Bieber” Facebook page that was created by her mother. The page quickly received over 12,000 supporters. After learning about Avalanna, Bieber decided to fly her and her parents out to New York City. They ate cupcakes, played board games and she even got to touch his famous hair.

After the visit, Bieber took to his Twitter page and wrote, “That was one of the best things I have ever done. She was AWESOME. Feeling really inspired right now.” Meanwhile, Avalanna told NBC News that she had “Bieber Fever.”
