Nicki Minaj’s Dad Heartbroken after hearing that Nicki wanted to “kill him”

It’s not a good time to be the father of Nicki Minaj. In a recent interview on, ‘Nightline’ Nicki talked about how much she hates her dad. She said that he was a drug addict and alcoholic who often threatened to kill her mother. Nicki claims that he even burned down their house once. The 29-year-old singer said that she wanted to kill her dad and that she used to wish he was dead.

Well, now Nicki Minaj’s dad and some family sources are fighting back. Family sources say that Nicki’s story is exaggerated (imagine that). Omar (Nicki’s Dad) admits he had anger issues back then, but claims it never reached the point Nicki described in the interview. Omar is completely shocked that his own daughter feels this way about him and he is completely crushed by the news.

You hate hearing stories like this. It’s especially troublesome because you never know who is telling the truth. We wouldn’t put it past Nicki to exaggerate something, that’s her shtick. Exaggerated costumes, faces, lyrics…etc. However, she might be telling the truth. It would explain why she is so weird, right?

Hopefully one day they can find it in their hearts to forgive each other.
