Whitney Houston Dead At 48 [UPDATED]

UPDATE:

Update #5: Fox TV celebrity journalist Flo Anthony says it was Houston’s brother Michael who found her dead in the bathtub and not Ray J.

Update #4: The Beverly Hilton Hotel Staff has told TMZ that Whitney “partied heavily” last night at the hotel with a group of friends. Apparently Whitney and her friends were in the bar for a long time and the group was drinking and very loud.

Update #3: The video above shows Whitney Houston’s last performance. She performed briefly with R&B singer Kelly Price on Thursday night at a Grammy party at Tru Hollywood.

Update #2: TMZ is reporting that she died this afternoon at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. A police crime lab vehicle was parked outside the hotel. Sources say police were called to the scene within minutes and fire was already there on another call. Paramedics performed CPR but it did not work and she was pronounced dead at 3;55pm. There were no signs of foul play.

Shocking news has spread across the internet tonight. The legendary singer, Whitney Houston has died at age 48. Publicist Kristen Foster said Saturday that the singer had died, but the cause and location of her death were unclear.

Whitney Houston was one of the world’s best selling artists. Her top hits include, “I Will Always Love you” , “Saving All My Love For You” and “How Will I Know.” But, Whitney’s career took a big hit when she started to use drugs. Her sales dropped dramatically and she no longer had that voice we all knew and loved.

This is really shocking and terrible news. Just yesterday there were rumors going around that Whitney Houston was asked to be one of the new judges on the, ‘The X Factor.’
