Chris Harrison the newest Bachelor!

The host of the Bachelor is about to be a bachelor. Chris Harrison and his wife of over 18 years, Gwen, are divorcing. The couple announced the sad news “after much heartfelt consideration.”

“Though we have made this incredibly difficult decision to separate, our love and mutual respect remain, and we look forward to sharing in the lives of our wonderful children.” Gwen and Chris said in a joint statement.

The pair live 35 miles from Hollywood with their two kids. They both have high praise for each other and they are both reported to be “great parents” Chris even finds time to coach both kids’ soccer teams, even with all of the work he does for the Bachelor.

But the big question is; will he be the next bachelor? He has to be, right? It only makes sense. Can you imagine the ratings it would receive? It’d be record breaking! At least for the first few episodes. ABC better do it! The public deserves something out of this divorce. We’re hurting too, you know!
