Jersey Shore Is Over!

Jersey Shore

The cabs are here and they’re waiting to take the Jersey Shore cast home for the last time. The hit reality show premiered in 2009 and instantly became one of the most popular shows on television. At one point the show was getting over 8 million viewers per episode, which is fantastic for a show on cable. However, ratings have started to fall and now they only receive around 4-5 million per episode.

The ratings drop was just one reason for the cancellation, though. MTV decided to end the show after the upcoming season because the cast is just simply moving on. Snooki has a baby, Pauly D is busy doing his DJ thing, JWoww has to order new breasts, The Situation is planning on growing up and Sammi and Ronnie have a lot of breaking up to do.

The truth is, no one really cared about them anymore. MTV got all they could out of Jersey Shore and it’s time that we all move on. Fans of the show will still get one last season to enjoy the shenanigans, though. And MTV will show an exclusive first look at the final season right before the MTV Video Music Awards.

Well, it’s about damn time. Now, if we could only get them to cancel all of their stupid reality shows, and bring back those silly music videos. But, that will never happen because MTV has developed some weird fear about showing people with actual talent on their network.
