Justin Verlander and Kate Upton Are Dating Says Verlander’s Grandpa

There have been rumors before about Justin Verlander and the perfect Kate Upton, but nothing was ever really confirmed. Sure, Kate was cheering on Verlander back in July during one of his starts, but that didn’t prove they were boning each other.

However, Verlander’s grandfather is now speaking out after being asked directly about the rumors by Celebuzz,

“I heard he has been on dates with a Sports Illustrated girl. I saw a photo – she’s beautiful. They make a good looking pair because he’s a good looking man too. I do know he’s on the dating scene. Justin is a fine boy and whoever he ends up with is lucky. He’s not only a great baseball player, he’s a great guy.”

Daaaaaamn, Gramps. You really know how to build up a guy, even I am thinking about dating Justin Verlander. Although that probably has more to do with the fact that he can throw a 100mph fastball and then make hitters look completely silly with an 89mph change.

This proves that the chicks don’t only dig the long ball but they dig the strikeouts, as well. If Verlander really is getting a taste of Kate Upton, then I don’t see how you could bet against the Tigers in the playoffs. You know he’s going to win every game he starts; he has Kate Upton waiting for him back at the hotel.

He’s taking the mound more than twice a night…if you know what I mean.
