Lamar Odom Headed Back to L.A.?

We all know Lamar Odom completely sucked with the Mavericks. It was pretty obvious that he just did not enjoy being in Dallas and he really didn’t even give it a shot. It seems like Los Angeles is just in Odom’s blood, and he just might be returning! The Mavericks are close to completing a three-team trade that would send Odom to the Clippers and the Clippers’ guard Mo Williams to Utah.

What would the Mavericks receive? Well, it would allow the Mavericks to throw away Odom’s salary and save all that money for someone who really wants to play for the team. A source close to Williams says that he is going to accept the trade, which means the deal will probably happen. It may even happen as soon as today.

If the trade doesn’t go down, then Dallas is expected to buy Odom out and make him a free agent. And if that happens, teams like Miami and New York could be going after him.
