Super Bowl commercials are all the rave this month, with the ever famous Matthew Broderick’s Day Off for the Honda CR-V. But,the most coveted Super Bowl commercial spot — by far — would be for Pepsi. And America’s chosen girl actually landed that coveted spot, and humbly said ‘Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would be starring in a Pepsi Super Bowl commercial, following in the footsteps of some of music’s biggest legends. And, indeed, there have been some legends that have performed in Pepsi’s big commercials, including Brittany Spears, Michael J. Fox, Cindy Crawford, and — of course — the dancing Pepsi bears. But, this year’s Pepsi Super Bowl ad will feature the new millionairess Melanie Amaro who gave her all when she sang Aretha Franklin’s Respect to the kingdom’s dictator, Elton John, in a medieval inspired commercial.
